Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole - KETO

Ingredients
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 package ground beef
  • 1/4 cup onion - minced
  • 8 oz sliced/chopped mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic pressed
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Creme fraiche or sour cream
Prep Ahead
  • Prep - slice bacon into 1/2 inch sections
  • Prep - mince onion
  • Prep - peel garlic and cut in half
  • Prep - slice/chop mushrooms
  • Prep - shred/measure cheese
Cooking Instructions
  • Cook bacon until crisp and set aside
  • Cook ground beef, onions, and mushrooms until most of moisture is gone
  • Add garlic and cook a few minutes
  • Add salt and pepper to taste
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Beat egg
  • Mix bacon, meat mixture, egg, and shredded cheddar, reserving mozzarella for topping
  • Press mixture into a small casserole pan and top with mozzarella cheese
  • Bake 20-30 minutes till edges are slightly brown
  • Add creme fraiche or sour cream am as a topping
