Prep Ahead
- Prep - slice bacon into 1/2 inch sections
- Prep - mince onion
- Prep - peel garlic and cut in half
- Prep - slice/chop mushrooms
- Prep - shred/measure cheese
Cooking Instructions
- Cook bacon until crisp and set aside
- Cook ground beef, onions, and mushrooms until most of moisture is gone
- Add garlic and cook a few minutes
- Add salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Beat egg
- Mix bacon, meat mixture, egg, and shredded cheddar, reserving mozzarella for topping
- Press mixture into a small casserole pan and top with mozzarella cheese
- Bake 20-30 minutes till edges are slightly brown
- Add creme fraiche or sour cream am as a topping
