- Cut fruit in thick slices.
- Heat in oil with garlic till rind is brown, 5-8 minutes, pressing fruit as it heats.
- Pierce steak all over with fork.
- Cover steak with hot oil mixture.
Marinate 4-5 hours.
- Grill over charcoal or pan broil in very hot, heavy skillet until crispy brown outside and juicy pink within, about 8-12 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
