Janny Cake

Cake Batter
1 lemon cake mix - not pudding style
1 small box lemon Jello
3/4 cup salad oil
4 eggs
3/4 cup water
2 cups powdered sugar
Approx. 2-4 tablespoons lemon juice

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour a 9 x 13 baking pan.

Mix the dry cake mix and jello lightly. Add water and mix. Add eggs and mix. Add oil and mix.

Pour cake batter into pan and bake for about 30 minutes or until edges are lightly brown and pulling away from edges and inserted toothpick comes out clean.

While cake is cooling in pan, mix 2 cups powdered sugar with just enough lemon juice to make a pourable, but not too watery glaze.

Using a meat fork, poke holes in cake at frequent intervals. Pour glaze over cake using a spatula to gently spread glaze.
