Sour Cream Sugar Cookies

*** DO NOT make a double batch. It won't fit...even in the Kitchenaid mixer ***

Ingredients and Directions

Cream together and beat 2 minutes:
1 cup butter or coconut oil or combination
2 cup sugar
2 eggs

Add and mix:
2/3 cup sour cream
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Sift together and add to above:
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
4 1/4 cup flour

Chill dough, then roll into balls the size of small walnuts. Flatten with glass first dipped in sugar. By adding more flour as you go, these can be rolled out and cut.

Bake at 350 degrees until slightly browned...about 10-12 minutes but varies by thickness and size of cookie.
